Brian Francis
CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
Masters Degree of Social Health
Brian’s professional journey spans an impressive five decades across four distinct fields: management, hospitality, theatre, and social health. His extensive work in clinical practice, community development, management, and sector development has shaped his core beliefs about human nature.
Brian firmly holds that people possess inherent strength, resourcefulness, and resilience. He has observed that most individuals are natural problem-solvers rather than self-destructive, and when provided with accessible, well-communicated information, they typically make choices that serve their best interests.
At Seasons Bali, Brian focuses on creating appropriate therapeutic spaces, understanding interpersonal dynamics, and fostering expansive thinking—all crucial elements for engaging clients in therapeutic communities. His approach ensures services remain true to program foundations while staying relevant to those who participate.
Living in recovery himself for over 25 years, Brian has complemented his lived experience with academic achievement through his Master of Social Health degree. His career has encompassed roles as counsellor, therapist, and program manager, allowing him to blend the essential skills from hospitality, theatre, and social welfare into a comprehensive knowledge base that benefits clients.
Brian’s commitment to providing exceptional experiences and outcomes for clients is what ultimately drew him to bring his consulting expertise to Seasons Bali.
